- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups egg noodles
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour in the chicken broth, ensuring the chicken is submerged.
- Layer the diced carrots and celery on top of the chicken.
- Spoon the cream of chicken soup over the vegetables, spreading it evenly.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once the cooking time is complete, remove the chicken breasts and shred them with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot.
- Stir in the egg noodles and cover. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
- Taste the soup and adjust the seasoning if necessary before serving.
