  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (dry)
  • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in elbow macaroni and make sure it’s well coated.
  5. Cover and simmer on low for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed. Add a splash of broth if too thick.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
