- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (dry)
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in elbow macaroni and make sure it’s well coated.
- Cover and simmer on low for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Adjust seasoning if needed. Add a splash of broth if too thick.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
